Martin Isaksson

MartinIsDr Martin Isaksson, DC, ICCSP

Dr. Isaksson, who works out of 2 multidisciplinary private practices in Sweden, received his doctor of chiropractic degree from Murdoch University in Australia in 2013 and his ICCSP in 2015. He founded the Swedish Chiropractic Sports Council (IKS) in 2014, and served as its President until October 2016.

At Murdoch University he was a student leader both in the student council and in sports chiropractic and was awarded the Chiropractic Association of Australia’s National Chiropractic Graduate of the Year and Miriam Minty Award in 2013.  He served as Chair of the FICS Membership Commission (2014-16) prior to being elected to the FICS ExCo as a European representative for 2017-20.

Dr. Isaksson has worked at multiple FICS, NCSC, and other games events and served in the polyclinic at the RIO 2016 Olympic Games. He sees a range of Olympic and other elite athletes in his practice and has strong relationships with other health professionals in sports. He is currently the medical adviser for RockTape Scandinavia.

Yngve Rogstadkjærnet

YngveRYngve Rogstadkjærnet

Yngve practices in Svolvaer in the beautiful Lofoten islands in northern Norway where he runs a multidisciplinary sports injury clinic. He graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia in 2012. He also holds a diploma in sports science from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (2006).

Yngve is passionate about sports and long distance and endurance sports in particular. He has worked at several international events, including the Norseman Xtreme Triathlon, a number of Ironman events, orienteering world championship as well as a many national and regional events.

As well as serving as a FICS regional representative for Europe, he also serves as a board member for the Norwegian National Sports Council (KIRO) and a regional representative for the Norwegian Chiropractic Association (northern Norway).
