Dr Kazutoshi Isa, DC
Dr Isa (Cleveland Chiropractic College, LA, 2005) was a national caliber swimmer in Japan, competing for a national title 15 times. To work in sports medicine, and on scholarship in the USA, he first gained a degree in kinesiology and athletic training at the California State University at Northridge (CSUN). He then decided on a career in chiropractic and, after graduating from Cleveland, earned a CCSP as well as an ATC.
Kaz, who returned to Japan to practice in Tokyo and his home town of Urayasu, has served on the FICS ExCo as the Asian representative for the past 4 years and is a member of the Education and Games Commissions. From 2007 he was a lecturer at the Murdoch University International Study Centre in Tokyo until its closure, and he was the FICS Administrator for the recent ICCSP program and exam in Japan.
His extensive sports chiropractic experience includes working with men's and women's basketball, volleyball, soccer and track and field athletes, and with Japanese professional wrestlers, professional golfers and collegiate level swimmers. Internationally, he has served at various games events, most recently in the polyclinic for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Paralympic Games.
